Since August 2022, Nexus has teamed up with Ninja Kiwi to strengthen the bond between creators and players in the Bloons universe. With a focus on supporting creators in a seamless and impactful way, we collaborated to roll out creator programs for Bloons TD 6 (2022), Bloons TD Battles 2 (2022), and Bloons Card Storm (2024). These programs give creators their own in-game creator codes, letting them earn a 15% revenue share on purchases made with their code—a simple yet powerful way to turn content creation into a meaningful income stream.
But we didn’t stop at just creator codes. In Bloons TD 6, we’ve taken things up a notch by supporting paid user-generated content (UGC) through the Map Editor’s innovative “Accolade” system. Players can reward their favorite custom map creators with accolades, and creators earn a share of these purchases. It’s a win-win: map makers get recognized (and paid) for their creativity, while players enjoy a steady stream of fresh content.
To make supporting creators even more rewarding, we’ve launched special promotions. For example, in Bloons TD 6, players who use Nexus creator codes can unlock exclusive in-game items like custom avatars—adding an extra layer of fun while showing support for their favorite creators.
Our partnership has even extended into charity efforts, like the Bloons Battles 2 Charity Showdown, which raised funds for a great cause while showcasing the amazing talent in the creator community.
From boosting UGC to offering unique incentives, Nexus and Ninja Kiwi are working together to grow a vibrant ecosystem for creators and players alike. By making it easy for creators to earn and players to engage, we’re shaping a more connected and dynamic future for the Bloons community.
